A Columbus man is in the Franklin County jail on a felony charge of discharging a firearm at or into a habitation or school.
Rommie Giles was booked Saturday, November 7, into the James A. Karnes Corrections Center on the single felony charge. Bond has not been set, and his next court date is Monday, November 9, in Franklin County Municipal Court.
Charges are not a conviction. Giles is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
