CHILLICOTHE, Ohio: President Donald Trump is scheduled to visit Chillicothe on Wednesday, Oct. 28, less than a week before the Nov. 3 midterm election, according to the Republican National Committee, as reported by WLWT and the Cincinnati Enquirer.
When and where
Doors are scheduled to open at 3:30 p.m., with the main program starting at 5:30 p.m. and the president’s remarks expected to begin at 7 p.m., according to WSYX ABC 6.
A specific location has not been announced, according to WLWT.
Tickets
The event is free, but guests must RSVP, according to WLWT. Those interested in attending can sign up for up to four tickets, WSYX reported.
Parking, traffic and road closure information has not been announced.
The races
The visit comes as Ohio voters weigh a U.S. Senate race between Republican Sen. Jon Husted and Democrat Sherrod Brown, and a governor’s race between Republican Vivek Ramaswamy and Democrat Amy Acton, according to WLWT.
The Chillicothe stop will be the president’s fourth visit to the region in a matter of weeks, following rallies in Youngstown, Dayton and northern Kentucky, WLWT reported.
The Enquirer reported that the announcement came minutes after Vice President JD Vance held an election rally Oct. 21 in Sharonville for Husted and Ramaswamy.
Early voting is already underway in Ohio. Election Day is Nov. 3.
