A man barred from a Warner Avenue property since December 2024 was arrested in its backyard Saturday afternoon, according to a Chillicothe police report.
Officers were called to a home on Warner Avenue on Saturday, October 24, 2026, for a trespass complaint and were told Kaleb Campbell had been barred from the property in December 2024. An officer found Campbell in the backyard holding a large alcoholic beverage bottle and yelling, the report says, and arrested him for criminal trespass.
Campbell told the officer a resident had given him permission to be there. The officer could not reach that resident to confirm it. The property owner told the officer he did not want Campbell at the residence, citing a previous incident in which Campbell defecated on the porch.
Campbell was held at the Ross County Jail until a Chillicothe Municipal Court date Monday morning.
The charge is not a conviction, and Campbell is innocent until proven guilty.
