Girls soccer tournament play fills the week, with district quarterfinals set for Wednesday, October 21, and Thursday, October 22, 2026.

The headline match for our area comes Wednesday night in Division III, when Unioto makes the trip to Miami Trace. Both teams come in with strong records, and a spot in next week is on the line.

Wednesday, October 21, 6:00 p.m., Division III: Unioto (No. 5 seed, 10-6) at Miami Trace (No. 4 seed, 14-1)

Thursday, October 22, Division IV: Westfall hosts the winner of Logan Elm and Ironton

Thursday, October 22, Division IV: Gallia Academy hosts the winner of Amanda-Clearcreek and Washington Court House

Thursday, October 22, Division IV: Wheelersburg (No. 1 seed, 17-0) hosts the winner of Waverly and Chesapeake

Wheelersburg comes into Thursday unbeaten and holds the top seed, while Westfall and Gallia Academy both get to play at home. For Unioto, Piketon, and Zane Trace, Wednesday means a road trip and a chance to knock off a higher seed.
