Paint Valley's First Win of the Season Comes in the Tournament

It took all season, but Paint Valley picked a fine time to get its first win.

The Bearcats, the No. 17 seed, beat Sciotoville East 3 to 1 on Monday, October 19, 2026, in the Division VII first round at Lucasville Valley High School. The set scores were 24-26, 28-26, 25-22, and 25-18.

Paint Valley dropped the first set by two points, then answered in a tight second set that went past 25 before the Bearcats closed it out. From there, they took the third and fourth sets to finish the match and keep their season alive.
