Ross County's Biggest Land Sale of the Fall: 50 Acres on Prussia Road Brings $350,000

A 50 acre sale on Prussia Road was the largest acreage sale on the Ross County Auditor’s most recent valid sales list.

Annette J. Stinson and John T. Stinson sold 50.00 acres on Prussia Road, listed as 0 Prussia Rd, to Jackson Wise for $350,000. The sale was recorded on October 19, according to the auditor’s list.

At that price, the land works out to about $7,000 an acre.

Most of the other sales on the list were houses in town and much smaller pieces of ground out in the county. A 50 acre tract changing hands stands out on a list like that, especially at this time of year.

The auditor’s list does not say what the buyer plans to do with the land, and no plans were included with the sale record. For now, the sale itself is the news.
