Teays Valley boys soccer plays in a Central District Division II district semifinal on Saturday, October 24.

The match is set for 7:00 p.m. at Mt. Vernon High School.

Teays Valley comes into the semifinal with a record of 10 wins, 4 losses and 3 ties. That kind of record does not happen by accident. It takes a full season of steady play to reach this point in the tournament.

This is the stage of the season where every match is final. There is no next game on the schedule unless a team earns it on the field Saturday night.

The winner on Saturday advances to the district final on October 28. That is the prize waiting at the end of the night in Mt. Vernon.

It is win or go home time for Teays Valley, and a spot in the district final is on the line Saturday night. Local fans making the trip should plan for a 7:00 p.m. start.

Good luck to Teays Valley as it tries to keep its tournament run going for another round.
