BAINBRIDGE, Ohio — Located inside the historic Paxton Theatre in downtown Bainbridge, 634 Coffee+Cafe offers residents and visitors a local spot for coffee, food and conversation.

The cafe, located at 133 E. Main Street, Suite B, serves a variety of espresso drinks, teas, smoothies and specialty creations, including flavors such as Snickers and French Toast lattes.

Food options include breakfast sandwiches, avocado toast, chicken salad croissants, rotating homemade seasonal soups and baked goods, along with gluten-free and sugar-free selections.

The business also works alongside the Paxton Theatre, serving drinks and snacks during performances and other events.

The cafe’s name also carries a distinctly local connection. An employee told Hopewell Heritage Headlines that “634” comes from Bainbridge’s traditional telephone exchange, with local landline numbers using the 740-634 prefix—a nod to the community the cafe calls home.

With dine-in options as well as pickup and delivery, 634 Coffee+Cafe has positioned itself as another locally owned gathering place in the Bainbridge community.
