Sincear Dominique Cokes, 19, of Columbus, is being held at the Franklin County Jail on a lengthy list of felony charges spanning three separate shooting incidents in late July and August. Court records list his date of birth as October 13, 2006. He is 6 feet tall and 160 pounds.
Cokes has appeared in Franklin County Municipal Court and faces cases in both Municipal Court and Common Pleas Court. Many charges list bond as not set on the sheriff’s inmate record. A preliminary hearing on one Municipal Court case was set for September 11 at 9:30 a.m. in courtroom 4D.

Antioch Jordan Church Drive-By (August 17)
Funeral procession shooting at 1825 Woodland Avenue that wounded two people. Case includes 2026 CR A 014987.

• Carrying concealed weapons with a dangerous ordnance specification
• Receiving stolen property
• Improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle
Court records state a person matching Cokes’ description was seen getting into a vehicle after the shooting. Witnesses told investigators a recovered 9mm handgun belonged to Cokes and that he was the shooter. One recovered gun with a switch matched casings from the scene. A BMW key was also recovered.
Kelton Avenue Residence Shooting (August 15)
Residence in the 1000 block of Kelton Avenue struck by gunfire after a ShotSpotter alert. Three people were inside. None were injured.

Court documents cite video of a dark-colored BMW and a witness account that Cokes was the shooter using a PSA Dagger 9mm. Records also describe a video call in which a person identified as Sincear allegedly said he was coming to shoot up the home.
Barrows Road Residence Shooting (July 29)
House in the 2700 block of Barrows Road struck by multiple rounds. Crime-scene teams collected dozens of shell casings. Investigators have said the gunfire may have been intended for a previous tenant.

Surveillance described four people walking in the street, stopping in front of the house, and firing with handguns that records describe as automatic or equipped with switches.

Cokes also faces counts of carrying concealed weapons, possession of dangerous ordnance, and related firearm offenses tied to the same three-week period. The sheriff’s record lists separate case numbers with early September arrest dates corresponding to the investigation of these incidents.
