CHILLICOTHE WOMAN CONVICTED IN AGGRAVATED DRUG TRAFFICKING CASE RECENTLY ARRESTED FOR PAROLE VIOLATION

A Chillicothe woman previously convicted in a Ross County drug case has recently been arrested on a parole violation, according to available records.

According to court records, Skylar Renee Silbas was charged in 2022 with Aggravated Trafficking in Drugs, a second-degree felony, along with Aggravated Possession of Drugs, also a second-degree felony.

The case was filed on February 24, 2022, and later closed. Sentencing records show Silbas received a prison sentence ranging from 3 to 4.5 years, with 185 days of jail time credit applied.

Records from the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction indicate Silbas was admitted on September 8, 2022, and was later released to APA supervision on March 5, 2025.

Recent jail records show Silbas has since been arrested for a parole violation. While the violation may be related to the prior drug case, the exact cause of the violation has not been confirmed at this time. In addition to the parole violation it Silbas was also booked in on a new drug paraphernalia charge.
