A Toledo man is facing multiple felony cases in Scioto County Common Pleas Court, including drug, assault, and failure to comply charges.
Court records show Jermaine A. Lucas, 30, of Toledo, is charged in one case with:
Trafficking in a fentanyl-related compound, a first-degree felony Possession of a fentanyl-related compound, a first-degree felony Aggravated trafficking in drugs, a fourth-degree felony Aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony
Records also show Lucas is facing a separate felonious assault case, a second-degree felony, as well as a separate failure to comply case, a third-degree felony.
The records indicate indictments were filed in 2025, with warrants later issued in at least some of the cases. In February 2026, Lucas appeared in Scioto County Common Pleas Court, where he entered not guilty pleas and was appointed counsel after being found indigent. In the felonious assault case shown in court records, bond was set at $50,000 cash or surety.
Court filings reflect ongoing discovery activity and motions from both the defense and prosecution. Pretrial proceedings remain pending in the cases.
Lucas is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
