SCIOTO COUNTY WOMAN INDICTED ON MULTIPLE FELONY CHARGES, ARREST WARRANT ISSUED

SCIOTO COUNTY, Ohio — A Scioto County woman is facing multiple felony charges following a recent indictment, according to court records.

Court documents show that Trista Bailey, of Wheelersburg, Ohio, has been charged with:

Illegal Use of Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) or WIC Benefits (Felony of the 3rd Degree) Falsification in a Theft Offense (Felony of the 4th Degree) Grand Theft (Felony of the 4th Degree)

According to records filed in Scioto County Court of Common Pleas, the indictment was issued on March 11, 2026. Prosecutors subsequently requested a warrant, which was issued the following day for Bailey’s arrest.

Jail records from the Scioto County Jail indicate that Bailey was taken into custody on March 13, 2026.

An arraignment hearing has been scheduled in the case, where Bailey is expected to enter a plea to the charges.
