A man booked into the Franklin County jail on Thursday is facing a felonious assault charge.
Layton J. Booker was booked Thursday, November 5. Jail records list charges of felonious assault and improper handling of firearms in a motor vehicle. He is held at the James A. Karnes Corrections Center, and bond has not been set.
Charges are not a conviction. Booker is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
