CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — The Chillicothe Police Department responded to several incidents over the weekend, resulting in three individuals being taken into custody on charges ranging from disorderly conduct to aggravated menacing and drug possession.
According to police reports obtained by Hopewell Heritage Headlines, the incidents occurred between October 31 and November 1, 2026.
Brian Lahmon, 43 — Drug Possession Following Traffic Stop

On November 1, Chillicothe Police Officer Canterbury conducted a traffic stop on East Main Street near Wade Street after discovering that the vehicle’s registered owner, Brian L. Lahmon, had an active arrest warrant through the Ross County Sheriff’s Office.
According to the police report, Lahmon was detained after officers confirmed the warrant, which involved an indictment for possession of drugs.
While being detained, Lahmon reportedly admitted to having marijuana in the vehicle and told officers that suspected narcotics might also be present.
Officers subsequently located a cell phone with white powder residue and a black tube containing a similar substance. A search of the vehicle also reportedly uncovered folded aluminum foil containing an opaque crystalline substance suspected to be methamphetamine.
The suspected methamphetamine was confiscated and was to be submitted to the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation for testing.
Lahmon was transported to the Ross County Jail, where he was booked in connection with the outstanding warrant.
Rayon Stiles, 39 — Three Counts of Aggravated Menacing

On October 31, Chillicothe Police responded to a disturbance at a residence on East Fourth Street involving Rayon Timithy Stiles.
According to Officer Christopher Claytor’s report, three individuals told police that Stiles had been acting disorderly and allegedly threatened to burn down the building while they were inside.
The individuals also reported that Stiles threatened to kill them with a machete if they or law enforcement came to his door.
All three reportedly told officers they believed Stiles was capable of carrying out the threats.
Officers were initially unable to locate Stiles, prompting a request for an arrest warrant on three counts of aggravated menacing.
On November 1, Officer Althouse contacted Stiles at a residence on East Fourth Street and advised him of the outstanding warrants.
According to the supplemental report, Stiles allegedly stated that he wished he would burn the residence down but denied making direct threats to burn it down.
Stiles was taken into custody and transported to the Ross County Jail, where he was booked in on three counts of aggravated menacing.
Brittany Johnson, 35 — Disorderly Conduct Following Domestic Disturbance

During the early morning hours of October 31, Chillicothe Police responded to a residence on Cox Avenue following a report of a disorderly individual.
According to police reports, officers encountered Brittany Kay Johnson, 35, who reportedly showed signs of significant alcohol impairment.
A male at the residence told officers that he and Johnson had been drinking at a local sports bar before returning home, where an argument allegedly became physical.
The male alleged that Johnson struck him in the back, although officers reported observing no visible injuries.
Johnson provided officers with a different account of the incident, alleging that the male had placed his hands on her shoulders during the argument. Officers noted that her statements regarding the physical altercation were inconsistent.
Police reported that Johnson had difficulty maintaining a clear conversation, appeared heavily intoxicated, and had difficulty standing still.
Due to her level of intoxication and the reported risk of harm to herself or others, Johnson was taken into custody for disorderly conduct while intoxicated.
She was transported to the Ross County Jail, where she was booked in and issued a summons for Chillicothe Municipal Court.
All information was obtained from Chillicothe Police Department reports. Criminal charges are allegations, and all individuals are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
