CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — A Chillicothe man has been taken into custody following an indictment on charges of Gross Sexual Imposition in Ross County.
According to records from the Ross County Jail, Keith A. Woods, 71, of Chillicothe, was arrested on March 9, 2026 and booked into the Ross County Jail at approximately 10:11 p.m.
Jail records indicate Woods is being held on a warrant related to Gross Sexual Imposition, a felony offense under Ohio law. The charge stems from an indictment filed in Ross County Common Pleas Court.
Court records show the indictment includes two counts of Gross Sexual Imposition under Ohio Revised Code 2907.05(F3). Following the indictment, a warrant for Woods’ arrest was issued and later served by the Ross County Sheriff’s Office on March 9, 2026.
Woods is scheduled to appear in Ross County Common Pleas Court for an arraignment on March 11, 2026, before Judge Michael M. Ater. A criminal pre-trial hearing has also been scheduled for April 9, 2026.
At the time of this report, Woods remains in custody at the Ross County Jail.
