American Legion Post 27 Seeks Community Donations for 2026 Easter Egg Hunt in Gallipolis, Ohio

GALLIPOLIS, Ohio – As spring approaches, American Legion Post 27 in Gallipolis is gearing up for a fun-filled Easter Egg Hunt, calling on local residents to contribute donations to make the event a success for families in south central Ohio.

The Auxiliary at American Legion Post 27 is currently accepting donations of plastic eggs, candy, little toys, lottery tickets, and adult lunchables. These items will be used to fill the eggs for the hunt, ensuring prizes for all participants. Donations can be dropped off at the post, located at 1839 McCormick Rd, Gallipolis, OH 45631, now through March 20, 2026.

This community-driven event fosters togetherness and joy, bringing families from Gallia County and surrounding areas in south central Ohio to celebrate Easter. It supports local veterans’ initiatives while providing a safe, engaging activity for children and adults alike, strengthening community bonds during the holiday season.
