Pickaway County

Pickaway County deputies were sent into Madison County on Friday afternoon to back up Madison County deputies at a home on West Main Street, where a man was refusing to put down a knife, according to scanner traffic.

Madison County requested a Pickaway County unit shortly after 4:15 p.m. Dispatch traffic indicated Madison County did not yet have a unit on scene when the request went out. Pickaway County units responded from the area of State Route 316 and State Route 104, and at least one deputy reported on scene within minutes, with more units still heading that way.

No injuries have been reported, and officials have not announced any arrest. The situation was still developing late Friday afternoon.
