The Clermont County Sheriff’s Office is inviting residents to come together for an evening of family fun, community engagement, and public safety during this year’s National Night Out on Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2026.
The free event will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Batavia Township Community Center, located at 1535 Clough Pike, Batavia, Ohio 45103, and will take place rain or shine.
National Night Out is an annual nationwide campaign designed to strengthen relationships between law enforcement and the communities they serve while promoting safer, more connected neighborhoods.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, attendees can enjoy:
- Free food and drinks
- Games and activities for children
- Live music
- Basketball
- Raffle baskets
- Demonstrations and displays featuring the Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit, Dive Team, Special Response Team (SRT), Central Joint Fire and EMS, and other first responders
The Sheriff’s Office is also seeking local businesses and community organizations interested in supporting the event through donations, volunteering, or hosting a booth.
Community members are encouraged to bring their families and neighbors for an evening focused on building relationships with local first responders in a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere.
